Meetings are for people with dementia and carers to attend together for social and emotional support and involve a mixture of reminiscence discussions, quizzes and other dementia-friendly activities

Carers can attend meetings alone, but people with dementia need to be accompanied by a supporter. This is usually the main carer but it does not have to be. It could be a friend/neighbour or a paid companion.
